Turkey Day

Hey loves!

I am writing this post on an extremely stuffed and satisfied tummy! This was an awesome Thanksgiving, as I got to spend it with my loved ones and lots of yummy food.  I always go to my best girlfriend, Simone's house and then straight to my boyfriend's family's house. Thankfully they're both in the same area! I started the morning off right by attending church with the family and then heading home to do some cooking. A couple of years ago, I tried my hand at Tyler's Ultimate Potato Gratin and failed lol. I didn't have a slicer and ended up not thoroughly cooking the potatoes because of it. Well this year was so much better. My potatoes were yummy! I love that this dish has a bit of a spin to it as it contains bacon and cabbage (yummm).

A while back, about two weeks ago, I purchased a cute dark teal peplum dress from Target and couldn't wait to wear it. As soon as I saw it I thought: church, casual, class, etc. It is so important to me that a piece is versatile and this one I could see being spun a variety of ways. I decided to debut it at church because it was a cute dress that didn't require sacrificing my comfort. I had to buy this dress in a medium because the large was simply too big. But, now that I look at the photos I see that the peplum sits a bit too high...big booby problems, I tell you. Sigh. Anywho, I love this dress and will definitely do a future post wearing it in a more casual way, so stay tuned!

It was such a beautiful day!

 Starting to have fun...
 Reeeally having fun....

Now I've gone too far haha
