Cap Toe Heels

Hello my darling darling readers!

As usual, I miss you guys! I love when I can bring you all an OOTD post. It makes me most happy :) So, yesterday I went to Target to grab things for the house, and I was proud of myself because I darted right past the women's section, grabbed my items and kept it moving. But on the way to the register, I passed the women's section and various bright colors pulled me in (damn you, Target!) So, needless to say, I ended up in the fitting room **insert long sigh** After grabbing a pair of lime pants that were on mega sale (haul video coming soon) I sauntered over to the shoe department because I was praying to the Target gods that these cap toe heels that I've been lusting over were on even more of a sale.

And on sale they were! They had been marked down from $32 to $17 (holllllla!!) I quickly, with baby in tow, smushed my foot into the first pair of 9 1/2's that I saw and ran outta there a happy lady. You guys don't understand, I have been drooling over these shoes as I looked at other Instagramers and bloggers donning the gorgeous heels, and now they were finally mine!

And they are so comfy. The heel is practical, they have a rubber grip on the bottom, and they are so versatile.

So, with all that being said, I went to breakfast this morning with a good friend of mine and couldn't wait to wear these puppies! I felt kinda crazy because as you all can see I am a flats girl through and through. But these heels, I can do! I can't wait to pair them with other bright colors. HEAVEN!!!

I decided to stay true to my roots and let my outfit be super simple and let the shoes shine through, and boy did they ever! I'm liking the idea of pairing a classic and comfortable outfit with a schnazzy pair of heels for an easy and effortless look. You may be seeing more outfits like these :)

Being silly with my boyfriend :)

Did I mention how beautiful the weather was?! 50+ degrees! I finally wasn't shivering as I stood for photos. Score!

My little one had to get in on the action

"Mommy, get up!"

My beautiful, beautiful shoes!!! Thank you Target! You continue to amaze me!

Clearly I'm over it lol.

  8. Yep I'm now inspired to throw on a heel more often...I usually shy away from doing so unless I'm going to church or partying. I'm slowly getting my fashion mojo back (my offspring stole it from me) and you're definitely one of my inspirations! Keep werkin' it babe!
