Plaid and Leather

Hello my lovelies!

I am on a roll! So I imagined this outfit in my head the night before, because I had been staring at these wedge shoes for an eternity. Everyday I have every intention of putting them to use, but I never make the commitment. So when I ordered my men's plaid shirt, I immediately thought of layering it with my cargo vest and wearing my $20 steals.

Yesterday was my best friend, Veronika's baby shower, so I thought hey, why not be cute, right?? I can easily say that this is one of my favorite outfits. I wanted to take a step in a more edgy direction and test out layering. I'm still quite a novice but I am determined to master it. I loathe wearing heavy jackets, so if I can make it possible to just layer the hell out of my shirts and have to damn near forgo a jacket, then I will.

Sad to say these leather pants have seen their last days because they have begun to peel and get lint balls *sad face* that's what I get for purchasing low quality leggings. It was good while it lasted.

  1. Cute! I wore my leggings like this two nights ago and I've had them for about 5 years. This actually works together... I would have never even thought to throw an outfit like this together!

    1. Haha! Thanks Princess! This hairstyle was so thrown together. Basically just a high bun and I pushed up the front into a pompadour and bobby-pinned it. Voila! Feel free to bite away ;)
